      <image:title>Home - I’m Sydni (she/her)</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, LGBTQIA+ affirming couples therapist providing therapy services in WA state. I’ve seen couples from all kinds of backgrounds go from constant arguing, periods of withdrawal, and ongoing tension to laughing together again and finding ease in day to day life. And even crying tears of joy and relief from finally feeling truly known by each other. I specialize in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT or EFCT) —one of the most researched approaches to couples work available, grounded in decades of attachment science. In our work together, you won’t just learn new communication tools. You’ll understand what’s actually happening between you, and find your way back to each other.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Sydni - About Sydni, LMFT: I began my professional journey in 2020 in a middle school, where I worked with pre-teens and their parents. It was there that I began to think deeply about attachment, and the role our caregivers play in our ability to connect with others. I noticed that when people felt genuinely heard, believed, and understood, symptoms like anxiety and depression, hopelessness, stuckness, and loneliness went away or reduced significantly. In my work as a therapist, I get to be a witness to what Esther Perel brilliantly articulates: "the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.” And so it’s my mission… to help people heal from attachment wounds that keep them from real connection and thriving relationships. I believe the ripple effect of such healing is profound. This is the lens that guides my work with individuals and couples. Supporting clients in finding deeper connection and therefore, better quality lives, is what motivates me to do this work every day.</image:title>
